VPAID 1.0 and VPAID 2.0. Currently, what majority of video players are synced with VPAID 2.0, having the following fixes that 1.0 did not support:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Starting with VPAID 1.0, supporting ad rendering on desktop and limited functionality with Flash. &nbsp;<\/li><li>Moving to VPAID 2.0, supporting ad rendering on mobile devices, autoplay VPAID on chrome for players smaller than 400&#215;300, a wider range of functionality than Flash using HTML5 and JS.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-are-there-any-limitations-1\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Are_There_any_Limitations-2\"><\/span>Are There any Limitations?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pretty much. VPAID mobile inventory is sometimes limited due to restricted compatibility with in-app environments. For mobile, a VPAID ad must be delivered in Javascript, though on desktop, the ad is delivered via Flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, again due to its incompatibility with the in-app environment, VPAID is probably not considered an apt script because of its chances to propel a longer page-load time on mobile. SWF format to read elements like images, GIFs, and other interactive elements, which standard formats don\u2019t. However, it\u2019s likely that video players used by publishers may not be able to read. SWF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When this happens, the VPAID script automatically gets overridden by the VAST script, ensuring the video ad still gets served. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The catch?
